Eclipse Party on the Plaza

This is the Team Alice volunteer application for Eclipse Party on the Plaza which will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at the Cinemark Theaters at Jordan Landing in West Jordan, Utah.

This year’s event will be on a much smaller scale than last November’s New Moon Experience. For this reason, we have reworked the dynamics of Team Alice.

Being a Team Alice Member means that you commit to:

• Work at least 2 hours the day of the event (if you cannot commit to at least 2 hours, we ask that you do not apply)
• Wear a plain black t-shirt during your shift -OR- purchase a Team Alice shirt for $15 (a picture will be posted on the Team Alice blog along with order instructions)
• Follow the Code of Conduct set forth below
• Keep all plans and information confidential

Vendors for Eclipse Party on the Plaza

If you are planning on being a vendor, we cannot accept you as a volunteer for this event as it would be unfair to both you and the team. There is no way for you to do both.

Changes from Last Year’s Event

• No required meetings. We will have get-togethers and informational meetings that you can attend if you choose
• No committees. You will sign up to work a specific station at the event in a time slot that works for your schedule
• We only need approximately 60 volunteers. Not everyone who applies will be used for this event
• No complimentary tickets, swag, or shirts for Team Alice members.

Filling out this application does not guarantee you a position on Team Alice for Eclipse Party on the Plaza. As mentioned previously, our need for volunteers has decreased as we have simplified operations. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Everyone else will be put on a waiting list if the need arises for additional help. You will be notified once your application has been approved. We do not want to exclude anyone from participation in this event and hope you all will join us as guests. Our goal this year is to make the event much less work for everyone and more fun than ever before!

We will be having park get-togethers frequently and all who want to come to those to mingle and visit are welcome, whether they are working the Eclipse event or not.

Please do not wear your New Moon staff shirt to the Eclipse event. These shirts were made specifically for the New Moon Experience as staff shirts and advertisement/promotion for that particular event. We don’t want to cause confusion with our guests if non-staff members are wearing old staff event shirts.

Code of Conduct

As a Team Alice volunteer, you agree to represent TwilightMoms and Events By Alice in a civilized, ethical and moral manner especially, but not only, when you wear a TwilightMoms or Team Alice t-shirt. When passing out fliers or information on the event, and during the event hours please make sure that your language, dress and manner of speech are above reproach. We also ask that you show respect to the other Twilight fans and recognize that being on Team Alice does not entitle you to any extra privileges or special treatment (i.e. cutting lines, freebies, etc). We have built a positive reputation in our local community as well as with Summit, Stephenie Meyer and within the world wide community of Twilight fans. We trust you to protect that reputation as part of this team.

Commitment Agreement

By submitting this form you agree to the commitment required to be a Team Alice member and acknowledge that you will pay for your own $35 event ticket.

In regards to purchasing your ticket, acceptance of your application and volunteering at the event does not guarantee you a seat in the theater, therefore you will want to purchase your ticket as soon as possible. To get on the waiting list, go HERE.

Reminder: Filling out this application does not guarantee you a position on Team Alice for Eclipse Party on the Plaza. Your application will be reviewed and you will receive notification of its status as soon as possible. Again, we truly do not want to exclude anyone from the fun, this is purely based on scaling down the size of the event.

If for some reason you find you are unable to work the event, no worries, just please tell us as soon as possible so we can fill your position.

As part of your application please email a picture of yourself to teamalice@eventsbyalice.com. This will be part of a photo roster that is being compiled.
